D is for Denmark

Denmark is my closest trace of family other than family in Canada. My Mormor (grandma) was born in Denmark and came to Canada when she was 12. She came over on the SS Stockholm. She has told me many stories about Denmark and they are very good.

So what did my family do when they were in Denmark. They had a mill well you might think that is a little outdated but I think athat is pretty cool. It was a flour mill. Unfortunatley it is no longer operating. I think my family is almost gone in Denmark now. I wish I could have gome to see them working at the mill. The branch of my family that I come from came over here when my mother's mother was 11. Unfortunately at this time she had already lost her mother.
They came over on the SS stockholm (see above picture). As I said they had no mother so my grandmother basically raised my great aunt and her father on her own at the age of 11. I think that is pretty amazing. They came to Canada because a year earlier they had come to Canada with their mother in bad health and showed her Niagra Falls. Imagine that something that I don't think much of seeing as I have been there about 4 times was a lady's dying wish it is amazing.
I rally hope I will have the opportunity to travel to Denmark and see Legoland. Maybe if I never go inmy younger years I will make it my dying wish to visit Coppenhagen, just like my greatgrandmother's wish was.
Life Lesson:Never take anything for granted even something that you see every year.

C is for Colin and Cheryl

Colin and Cheryl happen to be my parents and are the best parents in the world. They are as supportive as a wood beam. I know that that probably sounds like I really want my parents to give me something but I actually do think that they the most supportive parents. They are very helpful in hard times like when my uncle died.

First I will talk about my Dad. An awesome thing about my Dad is that we share the same birthday cool right!? I guess I am sort of like the best birthday present he's ever had. His birthday is June 3, 19__ I am sorry but hes has forbidden me from telling you the year. Another awesome thing about my dad is that he drives a race car which I think is awesome. He is very nice and has a job as an engineer that is pretty cool. I think his job is pretty cool and I am considering that as a career. So those are some of the cool things about my dad.

Now my Mom. My mom doesn't have the same birthday as me or anything, but she is a great cook. I like to help her cook and we have a lot of fun. Her birthday is November 17, 19__ again I am not aloud to tell you the year. She is a stay at home mom who loves to play with her kids.

Overall I think I have the best parents in the world I am glad that my parents will teach me right and wrong and not let me do whatever I want. I hope they will help become a successful person with a good life.

For example at my old school a lot of the got to go to friends houses right off the bus my mom didn't agree with that and now I know why, this year a kid did that and scared his mom to death I would never do that to my mom.

Life Lesson: Even though your parents can be mean they are just trying to help you.

B is for Best Friends

I really need my best friends. Imagine a world without any friends. It would be boring. I think that even if you have a fight with one of your best friends I think you should still be friends with them. You should always try to make up with them.

When I left my old school I left many good friends. It takes time time to build up a good friendship. I left and promised my friend I would keep in touch. For the first year it was okay , but now I know that it is very easy to break up a friendship. I don't think I have talked to my old best friend for 3 months. I think we migh talk again and it will be okay, but I doubt it we have both got new friends.

I came to my new school and wanted to make friends so I did. I became friends with another new kid and somebody who has been here for all of his schooling we became good friends and now we exchange emails every day. I don't think I will every be as good a friend with him because when I came here he already some very good friends.
Life Lesson: Your new friends are silver and your old ones are gold

A is for Aaron

Aaron is my brother and yes dare I say it one of my best friends. Without him life would be dull and boring.

Aaron is 9 years old and in grade three. One thing that is special about him is that he has an anaphylictic allergy to peanuts. This means that he cannot eat peanuts or anything that has been in contact with peanuts. This makes it hard for me when you go to a restaurant and look at all the delicious deserts on the menu just for my mom to say "No Tyler we have Aaron with us.
Then I go "That is so unfair" On the inside I am thinking that it is a small price to pay for my beloved brother Aaron I guess its fair how about you?

The next thing about him is that he loves to play. I will be doing my homework and he will come running up the stairs and ask me if I will play with him and I say no, but he doesn't take no for an answer so I finally give in and stay up late at night to finish my homework after I have played with him for along time. I just can't resist his big eyes.

After reading this post I hope you don't see my brother as an annoying little brat because I want you to look at him as a kid who looks up to his brother and wants to be close to him. If I was an only child I would die from boredom.

Life Lesson: You don't want to be an only child no matter how annoying your sibbling is.
